Maria Victoria Vivancos Ramón. Director of the chair.

Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia where she has been teaching for more than 25 years both in Bachelor and Master, within the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property. She is the author of numerous books related to the conservation and restoration of art, highlighting the work “The Conservation and Restoration of Easel Painting: Painting on panel”, a work that serves as a reference and training in this area both nationally and internationally. Román de la Calle. Adviser.

Professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts of the University of Valencia and former president of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos, has directed the University Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations (UVEG). He founded, in 1983, the Center for Documentation of Contemporary Valencian Art, which today bears his name, as a tribute. He has been Director of the Valencian Museum of Illustration and Modernity (MuVIM) (2004-2010) and also coordinated the Arts Classroom of the Alfonso el Magnánimo Institution (1998-2010). Susana Martín Rey. Adviser.

Doctor of Fine Arts in the specialty of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (2004) and Doctor of Chemical Sciences (2017). She has been working as a teacher at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), since 2001. Vicente Guerola Blay. Adviser.

Bachelor of Fine Arts and doctor from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He develops his teaching activity as a university professor in the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is a researcher at the University Institute of Heritage Restoration of the UPV. Specialist in ceramic painting and tiles from Valencia of the 18th century. He has published different monographs and articles dedicated to this artistic discipline of strong patrimonial ties in the panorama of the sumptuary arts. Read more…

 

José Luis Alapont Ramón. Adviser.

Architect in 1997, Doctor Architect in 2016, by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Professor in the Department of Architectural Projects of the UPV since 2001. His research activity is carried out at the University Institute of Heritage Restoration of the UPV (IRP), of which he was Secretary from 2006 to 2009 and is Deputy Director of the Area of ​​Architecture nowadays. María Teresa Domenech Carbo. Adviser.

Bachelor (1982) and Doctor (1989) in Chemistry from the University of Valencia. Professor of Baccalaureate (Physics and Chemistry), between 1984 and 1994. Professor of the University in the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property between 1994 and 1999 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and Professor of University since 1999. Regarding management, from 2005 to 2016 he has directed the University Institute of Heritage Restoration of the UPV.
